Alisa Bridger is a Licensed Psychologist who holds a Doctorate in Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia. She provides therapy for children and youth who are struggling with a range of anxiety disorders. She provides intervention for ADHD, including coaching and support with executive function development.
Her practice includes a focus on supporting evidence based and effective accommodations in collaboration with schools, as well as supporting clients and families in developing skills to self-advocate based on their areas of strength and need.
Alisa’s primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which she has found to be most effective when a strong relationship is built with clients through trust and a strengths-based focus.
